How I work
Understand how the work actually happens. I work with the people doing the job to understand their decisions, handoffs, workarounds, and exceptions. Together, we identify what is worth improving and what success would mean: less manual effort, fewer errors, better decisions, or a capability the team doesn’t yet have.
Choose where AI belongs. I use deterministic software for steps that need exact, repeatable results and AI where interpretation or judgment adds value. I shape the architecture around existing systems and choose models to suit each task’s quality, speed, and cost requirements.
Build for exceptions, then test. Missing data, ambiguous documents, and failed calls are part of the design. I build in validation, recovery paths, source evidence, and human review where needed. Evaluations and regression checks use real examples to show what works, where it fails, and whether changes improve it.
Design for adoption from the start. I make the user experience part of the architecture and roadmap: how people start, understand an output, correct a mistake, and stay in control. I build around familiar tools, involve users as the solution develops, and support rollout with training and reusable tooling.
